Senior Director 3, Sam Hoi, is a classic example of why a 'No', at times, only means 'Not right now.' It took his enrollers, Executive Director 3 Ian & Janice, 3 years before he said yes to becoming their Melaleuca customer.

Sam, who owned a Web Design Company, met Ian & Janice at a Business Network Event sometime after mid 2016, and they presented Melaleuca wellness concept to him. He was not keen then due to his very busy work schedule.

"Back then, I was running a one-man show business. Even though I worked from home, putting in 16 hours a day was a daily norm for me. And I felt so drained out that I was physically and emotionally not ready to look into something else!" Sam explained.

Nevertheless, Janice kept the friendship with him and they came out for coffee once in a while to touch base. At one of their meeting, Janice noticed Sam looked very tired and pale, she recommended to him Melaleuca Mel Up 1000 royal jelly drink to boost up his energy. This time round, Sam readily signed up as a Melaleuca preferred customer and bought the recommended health drink. He admitted the combined pressure of long working hours plus the pressure of running a business had had taken a toll on his health, and he was already visiting his family doctor every month!

Within 2 weeks of taking Mel Up 1000, Sam could feel his health and energy improved much! Thus, when Janice presented to him the possibility of him building a successful Melaleleuca business, he was more receptive.

When asked what was his main goal in life, he told Janice that, in the past 5 years, he has made repeated promises to his wife, Shervin, that he would redeem her freedom from the corporate world, and let her be a full time stay-at-home mom for their now 6 years old boy!

"But, my promises to her turned out to be empty promises year after year!" Sam recalled.

Janice then asked him, what sacrifices is he willing to make, in order to achieve this goal? She helped Sam draw up a 1 year business plan and encouraged Sam to give himself and his family this fighting chance- he needs to firmly put his 2 feet in Melaleuca and makes it work!!!

"What she said reached the deep core in my heart, I knew Melaleuca is my only chance of achieving my life goal, of fulfilling my promises to my wife to bring her home!"

"My strong why- building a better future for my family- drives me to work hard every single day!" Sam said.

​However, he admitted that in the beginning, he was not being very coachable, as he was inventing his own wheel and not practicing Melaleuca's 7 critical business steps!

"Of course, I hit the wall!" said the embarrassed Sam.

Sam then realized that he only needs to team up with Janice and work closely with her. "Janice has already built an effective business structure and system. All i need to do is to follow this system! I started holding her as my accountability partner and reporting to her my daily activities. I also started attending our weekly team meetings and Melaleuca's company activities, such as our monthly business meetings, quarterly leadership summit, and Melaleuca annual convention!" said Sam.

Following Janice's plan, together Sam & Shervin, enrolled 94 personal customers and developed 6 personal directors in just 1 year! They successfully advanced to Senior Directors I in June 2017 and earned a 5-figure income of M$14,000. 2 months later, they again advanced to Senior Directors II and earned M$32,000! In October 2017, Sam & Shervin further advanced to Senior Directors III!

"8th September was a memorable day for me and my family, it was the day Shervin becomes a full time stay-at-home mom! It was also the first time my son has had both his parents sent him to school!"

"This has been our dreams for the past 5 years but we didn't know how to achieve it until we started building our Melaleuca business!

Looking back, Sam feels blessed that he has turned his own 'No!" into a "Yes!" "If i did not give myself and my family a chance, i would still be the tired and unhappy Sam who juggles a 16-hours work schedule and runs a failing business, and my wife Shervin would still be a working mom, and both of us would still be as broke and struggling financially and could not provide the best for our son!"

Looking forward with much optimism and enthusiasm, Sam & Shervin set their next goal at  Senior Directors IV by December 2017!

有时候‘不’并不代表拒绝,而是意味着‘还不是时候’,Sam Hoi就是一个很好的例子!他的推荐人,执行总监3 Ian与Janice, 一共跟进了3年方才成功推荐了Sam, 成为美乐家的优惠会员!

曾经是一家电脑网页设计公司的老板,Sam是在2016年的下旬,在一个商业网络的平台上结识到Ian和Janice。当时,Janice有与他分享美乐家的传递富足概念,不过却被Sam拒绝了。

​“那个时候,我独自一个人在经营我的网页设计公司,时常要工作16个小时,我感到筋疲力尽,对什么都提不起劲儿,很自然地,我也拒绝了他们的好意!”

还好,Janice并没有忘记他,时不时都有与他维持联系,偶尔也会约他出来喝茶见面。 有一回,Janice发现Sam看起来很疲惫,气色也不大好,便建议他试一下美乐家的蜂皇浆养生饮品。这一回,Sam终于认识到,每天日以继夜的工作,加上经营的压力,已经让他的体力不胜负荷, 每个月开始往医院跑!他欣然接受了Janice的建议,先申请会员优待卡,然后才购买需要的产品。

过了两个星期,他明显地感觉到,他的精神和体力有了很大的改善!这个时候,Janice邀请他一起合作,建立一个可持续和传承的美乐家事业,每个月给予他即稳定又持续的收入!Sam接纳了Janice的建议,他们成为了要好的生意伙伴!

Janice先帮他找出他的人生目标,既是赎回老婆的自由,让她可以辞掉工作,做个全时间的好妈妈!

“我在5年前向我的太太许下这个承诺,可是,5年光景过去了,我却一直都没有办法实现它,我感到既无助又愧疚!”

Janice让他了解到, 只要他愿意做出一点生活上的调整和牺牲,专注于建立美乐家的事业上, 他一定会在美乐家成功,并达到财务富足的!

“我意识到,这是我人生的一次转折点,为了我的家人,我一定要全力以赴!

不过,刚开始经营美乐家事业的时候,Sam承认,他并没有遵照美乐家的成功7要素,他开始自创新招,结果当然是碰了一鼻子灰!

“其实,当时Janice已经建立了一套完善的事业架构和系统,我只是须要与她紧密合作就一定会成功”

当Sam意识到了这一点,他开始每天向Janice汇报他的活动,并出席每个星期的系统会议,公司的月会,领袖培训班和年会!

就这样与Janice的配合无间,Sam与Shervin在短短的一年多,总共亲推了94位优惠会员,以及培育了6位总监,并于2017年6月份,成功晋升为美乐家的资深总监, 当月赚取了M$14,000!过了两个月,他们在8月份再度进阶,成功挑战资深总监2,当月收入为S$32,000! 在今年10月,他们再接再厉,再一次进阶成为美乐家的资深总监3!

9月8日,对Sam一家人来说,是一个非常有纪念性的日子,因为这一天,他们的孩子第一次有爸爸妈妈陪伴他上学,让 他开心不已!

“这是我们过去5年来一直梦想实现的日子,现在终于做到了!如果,我当时没有把‘不’改变成“要’,那么,我相信我今天还是会每天工作16个小时,还是会因为生意上琐琐碎碎的事搞得我心力交瘁!Shervin也还会是一名职场妈妈,无法陪伴她心爱的孩子!而我们夫妇俩,也还是一样会在经济上抓袖见肘!

​展望未来,如今信心满满的Sam和Shervin今年的目标设定在资深总监4!

Pengarah Kanan 3 Sam Hoi adalah contoh klasik mengapa "Tidak", kadang-kadang bermaksud "Bukan sekarang". Ianya mengambil masa tiga tahun bagi Pengarah Eksekutif 3, Janice Hoh sebelum Sam memutuskan untuk mendaftar.

Sam, yang pernah memiliki syarikat reka bentuk web, bertemu Janice dan suaminya, Ian Tomy Chee, dalam satu perjumpaan jaringan perniagaan, dan diperkenalkan kepada Melaleuca. Pada masa itu, Sam tidak berminat kerana jadual kerjanya yang sibuk. "Saya bekerja bersendirian. Walaupun saya bekerja dari rumah, memperuntukkan masa bekerja selama 16 jam adalah rutin harian. Saya sentiasa berasa letih. Dengan semua ini, saya tidak mempunyai minat atau masa untuk Melaleuca," kata Sam.

Namun, Janice tetap berhubung dengan Sam, kadang kala bertemunya untuk secawan kopi dan berbual. Pada salah satu pertemuan mereka, Janice perhatikan penampilan Sam yang pucat dan mencadangkannya untuk mencuba Mela Up 1000. Sam memutuskan untuk mendaftar sebagai Pelanggan Istimewa dan mencuba produk itu apabila beliau mengakui kesihatannya terganggu dan mendapati dirinya berjumpa doktor setiap bulan. Dalam masa dua minggu mengambil Mela Up 1000, Sam melihat perbezaan yang jelas kerana beliau lebih aktif dan bertenaga. Seterusnya apabila Janice berkongsi tentang peluang perniagaan Melaleuca, Sam bersikap lebih terbuka terhadapnya. Beliau bertanya kepadanya apa yang beliau dilinginkan. "Saya memberitahu beliau matlamat utama saya adalah untuk membawa isteri saya, Shervin, pulang ke rumah untuk menjadi suri rumah. Ini adalah rancangan semen jak 5 tahun yang lalu, tetapi tidak pernah menjadi kenyataan," jela Sam.

"Janice tanya apa yang saya sangup korbankan untuk mencapai matlamat saya. Beliau menasihatkan saya untuk memberikan diri saya dan keluarga saya peluang ini-untuk melakukan dan menjayakannya," kata Sam. Dan pada Jun 2016, Sam mendaftar. Pada awlnya, beliau terpaksa mengorbankan masa bersama keluarganya. Pengorbanan beliau daripada menidurkan anaknya setiap malam, sehinggalah pergi untuk bertemu janji ketika waktu tidurnya. "Ianya menghancurkan hati saya. Sering kali, saya mempuyai keraguan, dan mempersoalkan diri saya kika saya melakukan perkara yang betul, tetapi saya tahu ini adalah satu-satunya cara bagi saya untuk mencapai matlamat saya. "SEBAB" saya yang kuat-masa depan yang lebih baik untuk keluarga-mendorong saya bekerja keras setiap hari," jelasnya.

Sam juga mengakui bahawa beliau pada mulanya membina perniagaannya dengan caranya sendiri, tetapi menyedari bahawa ia tidak memburhkan hasil yang baik. Melalui bimbigan Janice, beliau menyedari betapa pentingnya 7 Aktiviti Kritikal  Pembinaan Perniagaan, khususnya Aktiviti Kritikal 1 dan 2, untuk berjaya dalam perniagaan ini. "Janice memberi saya stuktur dan sistem yang sangat jelas, dan saya tahu saya perlu mengikutinya untuk mencapai matlamat saya. Beliau adalah rakan akautabiliti saya, dan saya pastikan saya melaporkan aktiviti harian saya kepadanya, menghadiri perjampaan dan mengambil bahagian dalam sesi Iatihan untuk memastikan saya berada tetap di landasan yang betul," kata Sam.

Mengikuti rancangan itu, Sam bekerja bersama isterinya, Shervin, dan mendaftarkan 94 orang pelanggan dan membangunkan 6 orang Pengarah peribadi dalam masa satu tahun. Beliau mara ke status Pengarah Kanan pada bulan Jun 2017 dan memperolehi M$14,000 pada bulan itu. Beliau terus menyaksikan kenaikan pendapatannya apabila beliau meningkat kepada Pengarah Kanan 2, dengan pendapatan M$32,000pada bulan Ogos sahaja. "8 September adalah hari yang sangat bermakna bagi kami. Shevin akhirnya dapat meninggalkan pekerjaannya , dan menjadi suri rumah. Kami telah menginginkan hari ini selama 5 tahun, dan tidak tahu bagaimana untuk mencapainya sehinggalah kami membina perniagaan Melaleuca," kata Sam gembira.

Melihat kembali, Sam berkata beliau gembira beliau akhirnya mengubah "Tidak" kepada "Ya". "Jika tidak, kemungkinan saya masih bekerja, dan kami masih bekerja selama 16 jam sehari, Shervin masih bekerja, dan kami masih bergelut dengan kewangan," Sam mengingati kembali Dengan keyakinan yang tinggi , Sam merancang untuk mara ke status Pengarah Kanan 4 menjelang Disember 2017.
